Not sure which is the 'best'  topper but we found a 2" thick one very good. Some will swear by Duvaly but they don't come cheap. I got ours from an online shopping site, checked out the reviews and chose one that I thought was a reasonable price and had good reviews. We don't bother with a fitted sheet (can't abide crawling round bed to make it) so I made (using a duvet cover) a removeable cover for the memory foam, we now just roll it out on top of the cushions and throw a duvet and pillows on top, job done.

Got ours from Aldi, not quite 2" thick but very comfortable. It came with a removable washable cover, think it cost about £25-£30 three years ago. We use with sleeping bags, one lightweight and one heavyweight zipped together and pillows...Cool

Thanks for replies. I am thinking of two length ways as in two singles so storage is easier. I like the idea of making a fitted sheet

Spk, that's what I have done, I bought a Kingsize then put it on the floor in the house and cut it in half and made covers for both pieces, as you say much easier to store, it also means we can use the beds as singles or one big double. Kingsize is also
cheaper than buying 2 singles, most caravan beds are no wider than 2' 6" when used as singles so kingsize works well, but some are as narrow as 2' 3" so a double could be used if that is the case.

Most standard mattress toppers are about 2.5 cm deep and do a good job for the thirty odd quid they cost, we just upgraded to one from matressman which is 7.5cm deep and that is just another level of comfort however they put a hefty price on your comfort
at £90. Think they also did one at 5cm for a bit less.
