My  Chausson 530  is just about to arrive to sit on a very visable driveway pitch - I  want to secure it as  best I can - Can anyone recommend a really good clamp  (or other measure) to make it as difficult as possible for it to  "dissapear"?  It has a good
alarm - that all so far!

Many thanks in advance

A good quality steering wheel clamp could be a good visual deterrent.

    Even locked gates help.

Buy the best insurance you can afford.  The truth is that if thieves really want to steal your M/Home they will succeed.

You are keeping the MH beside your house which is good, as you and your neighbours will be able to see any criminal activity should it occur.

External security measures such as wheel clamps Etc are easily removed by the criminal fraternity.

The important thing is not to spoil the enjoyment of M/H ownership by constant worry about the possibility of theft.

I agree with Kennington, if they want it, they'll have it short -  of you sitting their with a pump action shotgun!!!  (Now there's an idea?). Just do what your insurance ask you to do regarding security devices or you could think about finding a GOLD standard CaSSOA to store it on. I had my Cvan stolen by travellers from a Bronze CaSSOA so moved to gold and haven't worried about it since.

Some friends of ours had a motorhome and the steering wheel was removable, so he took it in the house each time he returned home.

I have a centinel "clutch claw". This locks the brake and clutch pedals together so impossible to drive away. I also have a centinel security post fixed in the drive immediately behind the motorhome. I then have padlocked gates.
