Jockey wheel motor mover
We have just brought our first caravan S/Hand but due to weight we are unable to have a motor mover fitted,, an alternative would be a motorised jocky wheel, has any one any experience of pros and cons. T and M.

To be used for moving onto pitches and or when in storage, thanks

Can you give details of the caravan, make, model, year, MIRO and MTPLM?
Some vans can be replated to give a bigger payload.
The jockey wheel movers are not ideal if you want to use when on a site, plus they generally only work well on a hard surface as far as I can gather.

If your car will tow legally your caravan may be able to be replated. if now 1250 it may be able to be replated to 1300 which will be more than enough for a mover.
Try contacting Swift and ask them if it is possible, you will then need to order via a swift dealer who will charge you around £60
