Sikaflex 215. I used it to fix the solar panel onto the roof of my Autocruise .NO movement at all ,even at high speeds and high winds.

Whatever grade of Sika (Polyurethane adhesive/sealant) be quite sure that you will never want to remove the fitting!
I used Sika 291 when installing the windows on my boat 32 years ago. The windows could now do with refurbishment, but removing them is impossible without damaging either the windows or the coachroof. If adhesion is not the primary issue, just 'stick' (!) with silicone sealant.
Incidentally, for many general tasks requiring a polyurethane, PU40 or similar is just as good at a fraction of the price.

Write your comments here...512 I have always used, attached skylight wind deflector to the roof of my daughters vw camper, 8 years ago, still there, no problems.Sikaflex 512 is NOT a silicone, its a very strong bonding flexible white adhesive.

When I was about to order some Sikaflex to fit solar panels I could not remember the correct number so I 'phoned up their help line. The number I was given (and have now forgotten) was different from the usual but not all that expensive. It does seem to
have worked well, and I recall reading in the instruction sheet the dire warning "After 24 hours exposure to air this product can only be removed mechanically."I tried cutting the tube open after it had unfortunately gone hard and it was like sawing through a steel bar. I guess I'll not be transfering the panel to the next 'van!
