Polish a caravan ? Never once in 50 years. Bucket of soapy water and a long handled brush once a year - and a hosepipe to swill it over.

If you use Autoglym super resin polish, make sure you also use its Extra Gloss Prorection.

Super Resin polish removes very fine layers of the top coat protection to flatten out the surface to ensure and equal reflection of the light and thus a highly polished look. The Extra Gloss Protection protects
the paint from the elements, causing water to bead up and slide off. It makes it easier to wash.

I use both Autoglym products. I did use Mer but found the polish a bit too harsh on other than the aluminium sides. The chemcial formaul for Mer has since changed.

Don't use polish on the caravan. Wash with water then use a caravan cleaner such as Fenwicks, followed by sponge down with Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler.

Over the years, I have used many brands of polish as I have always( since my Mod days) been interested in car bodywork. An interest started by having scooters. At the spring show last year I thought I would treat myself to  Autoglyms High Definition Wax
from their stand. It was £35 at the show (£45 at Halfords). This is by far, the best wax I have ever used. Note it's a WAX and not a POLISH. It leaves a waxy coating over everything it's treated with And the gloss finish is deep and fabulous. Not only that,
it goes an awful long way and is very economical in use. Black streaks just wipe away and the manufacturers say it lasts for 50 washes. YouTube has many videos showing just how good this stuff is. Take a look and be impressed. Tuesday I will be at the show
and I will be heading to the Autoglym stand to restock!!
