Upgrades / Add ons for Caravan

Hi all,

What upgrades or additions have you added to your van; be it for comfort/moral reasons, freshening up, efficency etc.?

Ive replaced all my halogen lamps for LED equivilent, have fitted a wifi repeater/4g router with wireless usb media streaming to smart tv/device. Ill be getting an auto satellite dish in the next couple weeks so that will keep other half happy..

Do you get sockets with usb charging that replace the standard face plates? Wouldnt mind having a few usb outlets on the sockets in van for charging devices.

Any ideas please share as im new to this always looking for things i can improve on van internally and externally.

    I added a 0.5kw heater to the bathroom. Great for taking the chill off, without having to heat the rest of the van.

    that said, one always has to take account of weight maximums!

    Can't think of anything immoral to do with my caravan that I could upgrade.

    Yes, I have made many improvements- changed the halogens to LEDs, changed the washroom tap to a swivel tap so I could actually use the sink! Added a 2nd battery, a 135w SP on roof and a 2000w PSW inverter, added a SAFEFILL cylinder and now have much cheaper
    caravanning without any reduction of comfort. That's what I call improvements!

    Apart from the usual hooks and hangers there,s umpteen extra 240v sockets.Aux connections for satt,booster and van ariel both inside and out.Shock absorbers to all 4 wheels.On board indication of incomeing voltage,battery voltage,amps being used,int and ext air temp.Concealed led strip lighting and led floor lighting.All reading lights changed to led bulbs.Washroom low wattage panel heater for drying towels .Better indication for the water heater power switch Happy
