Soapy water and a mark 1 human hand. Don't rub too hard. Then rinse off (the window not youSmile)

No cloths or polish for us. We just accept its not perfect but the windows are not scratched in any way.

Top Tip. Don't let the dealer wash it if buying a new caravan or MH. The yoof on washing duties will more than likely scratch it with nice swirly lines before you have even taken if off the dealers premises.

i have read that certain products such as washing up liquid, and cleaning shampoos are harmful to plastics used in the making of caravan/motorhome windows,i only use the reccomended cleaner together with a fine cloth, and only apply gentle pressure,if you
do get a scratch "fenwicks" scratch remover should sort unless its very deep

    Totally agree

I flood the window with water then "slosh" lots of soapy water over the area and sponge from top edge to bottom. Have used this method for 30 years. Just make sure the majority of dust particle etc are hosed off first.

The only difference between me and Fysherman is that I do tend to get very wet when cleaning the van. Laughing
