Kampa air or quest carina air awning

Hi we are considering buying our first air awning, we currently have a kampa rally ace 400 which is the perfect size for us.

so naturally we are looking at the air ace 400 but at our last visit to our dealers we spotted the quest leisure performance carina 420 which has features of kampa awning but is a darker colour and a bit cheaper, has anyone got any experience or views on this awning as even though it's cheaper don't want to choose the wrong one and regret it  with having no experience of air awnings as I have read posts on here where people have suffered with air  awnings  in strong winds.

Thanks craig&lisa

I know this isn't quite what you asked. We very recently bought the air ace ..... using it now for the very first time .... you're welcome to a trial fit  if you  like. We're 5 mins walk from Burrs Country Park

we are going to have a good look at them at the NEC but I may just take you up on your very kind offer.

I have a Kampa air pro 330.   Kampa air awnings are very  good , I can erect on my own with just a bit of help to get it through the rail.  They're just not doggy proof. My big mutt has just jumped up at a dog walking past and stuck her claws through the
window. Result two  slits  and a repair job.  She's in the doghouse now and knows it !!  But the awning stood up to it ok and withstands high winds very well.

    Hi Craig W,

We got our air awning at the begining of the year and after much looking, pulling and delibrating we decided on the Vango Varkala, In our opinion it was the best for the price and we liked the way the roof beams are all seperate meaning if you want you can
leave them blown up between sites. Could be worth a look.
