I have the Snooper Sat Nav bought 3 years ago and since updating the software 3 weeks ago it is extremely slow in finding the current position. Yesterday it took an exceptional 2 hours but more likely about 5 minutes. Today it showed me in a field some distance from the road depite the road being in existance for centuries. Has anyone else had problems? It seems to be a problem with tracking satellites. I have tried a system reset with no imprvement.

Do not know about snooper but our Tom Tom with lifetime updates got slower and the Mapping seemed to have a problem with each update as some of the later routes and instructions (if followed) would be wrong, we checked it in our local area ,an e-mail to Tom Tom just got a USUAL reply saying they had not had other queries Undecided

Write your comments here... Many thanks JBV. It would be a large download as it has European maps too and took ages so your theory sounds most likely. I wish I had just left the old version apart from the fact some UK junctions were out of date.
