TP-LINK M7350 4G LTE-Advanced Mobile Wi-Fi Router
Was thinkning of getting a 4G mifi to take away in UK and for abroad. Looking at the above unit, seems to get good reviews so just wondering if anyone has used this or any other TP Link items?? I know Huwei also get good reviews but battery life seems
better on this model.
Thanks

what is the advantage, say, over an 'ordinary' smartphone?
I leave my iphone plugged into a 12v socket, so battery life, per se, isnt an issue. also the resulting hotspot can be used by all of our devices....
so, why would I, or anyone else, need to spend money on a mifi unit?
after all, its £75, thats a lot of gas, nights on a THS, or even extra data for the phone

2 things BB, for streaming video etc and when abroad to share a data connection on PAYG. £30 SIM from 3 for 12GB data is a lot less than a phone contract and you can swap SIM providers if the chosen one has no coverage or when abroad use a local provider.
Plus its a gadget

Because the data on a MiFi unit is often cheaper than that in your mobile contract. I have a 12gb sim, which lasts 12 months, from 3 for my MiFi device which cost me only £30. I also have a contract for an EE tablet, which serves as a 4G MiFi device, which
gives me 10gb per month for £9.I am not sure if there are any phone contacts that can match this, but no doubt someone will correct me!

both my (4g) ipads can also run any data SIM just like a mifi router just as cheaply....
12gb for 12 mths is only one gb a month...of ypu do any serious streaming, youll be using your 12gb a lot quicker than that..

We just use our 3 MiFi as a cheap additional method of getting a high speed internet connection. We have phones on EE and O2, so will almost always have a phone connection, but not always 3 or 4G. If both of these fail and the 3 shows a signal, I can nip
and buy a top up at the local supermarket, or news agent. Otherwise it just sits in the drawer, costing nothing, other than its original purchase price. At the moment it also seems to be the cheapest way of getting a connection when we venture to Europe.0 -
Some of you are paying too much for your '3' 12GB/12month sims. Check eBay/Google. My last one was £21post free. It arrived in 2days. ....from Switzerland
