Sun shade

We normally use a full sized awning when we are on site for several days but it is a bit of a chore. We travel mostly in France and Spain and continually see other cravanners/motorhomers with lightweight sun shades that simply slot into the awning rail with
a couple of poles and some guys. Are these Fiamma or something much simpler and cheaper?

Isabella Shadow - not cheap but good quality.

I agree. We bought a Shadow at the Manchester caravan show earlier this year, and used it in France, this summer. Absolutely brilliant, very easy to put up and take down, packs down to a low bulk and is lightweight. Don't know how it would perform in the wet and windy, might give it a try in Scotland later this month, but as a sun canopy it is ideal.

Don't know about the Shadow, but the Eclipse by Isabella is brilliant got ours to fit onto our Magnum Coal.It also fits straight onto the van via the awning track. For £130 it's the best.

Fiamma Caravanstore is what you are thinking of.  We have one and use it instead of a full awning on all our summer continental trips.  It is up now in the very hot Lot.  Takes less than 5 mins to pull it out and fix the guys - the same to roll up and zip
into its bag which is fitted to the awning rail; I do it myself quite easily.
