Hi. I have an Elddis Avante 556, 2005 model. Over a period of time now and without us noticing, one of the front windows has been leaking water causing the front shelf (commonly known as the Pot Shelf) to become totally perished. Also the thick beading holding
the shelf in place has warped. On looking I can see no other damage, just this this piece of shelving.

Could I please ask for suggestions on how to replace the shelf and beading and if anyone has experienced the same how they repaired it. I have looked at breakers but knowone seem's to have this part available. I would appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

Fezzer , it sounds to me like a job for a carpenter to build in a new shelf for you. Would that work?

Thanks for replying eurotraveller. That is certainly an option and would probably do a better job of it than I could. Was looking at trying to make a template, source the ply myself and try to do it but as I say, a carpenter would do a better job. Cheers.
