Leisure battery charge
I have a three cycle charger and 110 amp battery
Got charge to 13.8
left on charge for several days after.
Then switched off
Checked battery 2 weeks later charge down to 12.7
Is the battery still good or on its way out
Its about 7 years old

12.7v is precisely what you would hope to see on a battery which has been 'at rest' for some time. It indicates a fully charged battery (although does not necessarily indicate that the battery still has its original 110Ah capacity.).
13.8v is widely regarded as the maximum voltage at which a battery can safely be kept on charge without using excessive water. (Personally I prefer a rather lower 13.6v for long-term float charge).
All these voltages do change a little depending on temperature and precise battery chemistry. You also need to be confident that whatever meter you are using is sufficiently accurate.
