does anyone have any experience with camptech air awnings?  They seem very reasonably priced for what you get compared to the Kampa for instance but I'm thinking you get what you pay for ...

Is it any good? A lot of reports, issues with zips and does it stay inflated? We've never had an air awning. Thanks

I have a 390 lux. I bought it as a replacement for my almost new, full awning which I was finding increasingly difficult to put up especially in windy condition. It was around half the price of the equivalent Kampa model so I was pleasantly surprised to
find it easy to put up on my own and good quality. It certainly stays inflated, I'm away on the Lizard in Cornwall at the moment and it's a tad windy! The beams bend in the wind and spring back. I don't know if it will last longer than the more expensive models,
but for the price, it does what it says on the tin.

I bought mine from Jeff Bowen awnings who packed it and shipped it to me on site the next day. There are some less than complementary reviews of this company but I have bought from them twice and they have always been more than helpful.

We have had this one for twelve months and it has been up in all kinds of weather. No pooling on the roof as it has seperate roof rafters. No issues with zips so far, ours has doors at either end and all three panels in the front can be used as doors. Its
worth buying the veranda rafters as this allows the three front windows to be half open. Tip for erecting after threading through the awning channel is to peg the ladders close to the side of the caravan before inflating, then inflate the girders and position
them before pegging the rest.  We are pleased with the product and the service from the dealer where we bought it (Jeff Bowen). Its as good quality as others seen on site and in showrooms but about half the price.  We have had lots of interest and good commments
from people when we have had it up (I understand its a spin off from Dorema somewhere along the line (ex director I think)).  Would we buy again Yes without a doubt. The only negative is the curtains which are rolled up rather than drawn, but as we leave them
rolled up its minor. Any thing else just ask.
