Am considering purchasing the suitcase folding type solar panels for my m/home - what wattage would be best - 80/90/100 I have only the 1 leisure battery.

Thanks

In the region of 90w. Low sunlight levels reduce efficiency so the manufacturer's figure is just a guide. But you have 2 batteries in your MH and can run the engine to charge them, so you could maybe think about a smaller panel. The big ones are heavy and
need storing, drying for packing up to take home etc. Security with bigger, more expensive panels is a consideration. We have a 90w folding panel for our van with a 110ah battery, which works as long as we're not excessive with the TV. To tell the truth, we
    rarely use the TV anyway.

We have a 100w roof mounted panel that charges our leisure and vehicle battery, it works well at most times of the year. Go for the highest wattage if you can. We were on a site recently were someone kept running their vehicle engine to top the battery up
and to be honest I think it annoyed everyone! However if you drive off site for trips out that will help to charge it.

Bigger the better (as in most things in life)

    Suggest 100W
