Alko hitch lock type2 barrel

Hello again, 

Ive kinda got my trousers pulled down on a hitch lock I got off flea bay.

The photo in the add showed this nice shiny lock.

The one I was sent looks as if its been left out side and neglected all its life, everything works fine, its just losing its paint. So I got to work today starting to remove the lock barrel prior to shot blasting and powder coating.

I've removed the 2 small screws but the barrel wont slide out, copiuos amounts of plus gas and wd40 but still no joy.

Any ideas guys?
