Hello all, just wondering if anyone can help - we have a Bailey Pageant, height 285cm, we've bought a full size awning which we've yet to use, but are after a porch awning. Sizes for full size awnings seem easy to understand, but struggling to know what
size/type of porch awning to get - any help appreciated!

It's the height of the awning rail that matters, that tends to be somewhere between 235 & 250cm, which virtually all awnings are designed to fit.  With a porch awning the number in the 'name/model' of the awning tends to be the width, so a 'royale
390' will be 390cm wide.  Porch awnings can be fitted anywhere along the rail, so it's worth getting a tape measure out and seeing how big it would be & where you would want it, particularly with the position of windows, lockers, fridge vents etc.  It's worth
having a look at an identical van to yours with a porch awning in situ if you see one too.

Porch awnings come from 220cm to 390cm in width, what you intend to use the porch for will determine which size you go for, our 390cm is plenty big enough for a table with four diners, but we have just bought
a 220 just for weekends when it's just 2 of us - to leave shoes outside and/or sit out in of an evening with a small table.

When we changed our van we got rid of both the 'porch' and 'full' awnings and bought one 390 cm awning. Its quick and easy to put up, cost very little, being acrylic dries very quickly and is more than big enough for two of us. Minor issue on sites who charge
for awnings..."Do you have a full or porch awning as its either £2 or £1 a night. Err...
