Replacing Alko friction pads.

We have developed a squeaking sound in the hitch when towing. We're thinking it's coming from the friction pads in the alko stabliser. When we took them out one has a small hole in the centre so we want to replace them. Are they standard for all alko hitches,
or are they specific in some way? Any advice welcome.

Have a look on alko website to see what model you have and what pads you need as I think different pads do several models each.

If you do the side ones , that you knock out with a punch , they don't come with any o rings to locate them and they will fall straight back out, Go to the pound shop and get an o ring kit,  fit new o rings with the new pads.

Thanks guys, I looked up the hitch we have and ordered direct from Alko, got the O rings as well. Sorted.

    Thankyou!
