We had one and found it to be very accurate however one day while weighing the caravan move back slightly as I forgot toapply the hand brake.  The neck snapped off.  We now use a calibrated Milenco which is a lot sturdier.

I've seen 'very accurate' posts before, but I'm always left wondering how you know that it was very accurate? Please share your verification technique. Comparison tests with nose weight gauges seem to suggest that some give widely varying readings as they
get older. I understand that Milenco have tested theirs to BS accuracy over many uses. But they are expensive.
