Can someone tell me how to access the pump that is inside the flush compartment of our toilet.  The toilet is a Thetford 250 CWE.  The vsn is a 2011 Lunar Clubman.  The flush won't work.  There is no effect when I push the flush button on top of the toilet.
I've checked the fuse, it was intact but had some furring on it -  i 've sanded the blades clean.  I've read that the pump can seize but I don't know how to get at it to check.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I haven't read it all, but you'll probably find what you're looking for in here:  Theford C250 toilet user manual

    or practical stuff here:

    Hi Bill
Hopefully I can help. Had same problem on our swift, found pump body had cracked and seized the pump... don't realish how much you miss the bog flush until it breaks!

You need to access the from the outside cassette locker. Suggest you use a small mirror to look up just inside compartment and you should see two blue finger things, these need to be pulled apart alittle bit and the whole pump assembly should drop down.

    Hope this is of help.

Once you get it out, if it looks OK, use a very thin screwdriver to try to turn the pump, this may free it up.

If it still does not run then you have an electrical problem, possibly the control board or the connections to it.

To access it, peel off the sticker on top of the flush tank and prise up the board with a screwdriver.

Meantime, a beaker of water poured round the bowl is generally effective at "flushing".

Thanks for the advice ValDa and KjellNN.  The problem is now sorted.  After trying all options without success I got a fitter from the local caravan dealers to call.  The problem was corrosion in the circuit board just beneath the flush button.  A new circuit
board was fitted and everything now works.

I met a chap recently who had exactly the same problem with his circuit board and he'd been told it was due to damp. A strange design weakness considering where it's located.
