Has anybody experience of this item. How do you attach the inlet pipe to onboard pump. Used an aquaroll for the past 40 years now need a replacement to fit into the more compact locker boxes on new caravans

Fiamma water carriers are no differant to an Aquaroll, except in shape and capacity, you just put the pump and pipe in through the large filling hole in the carrier. I use one and pump water into the inboard tank of my motorhome, if i dont feel like driving to the service point. You say you have an onboard pump ? Is this in a caravan (very unusual) or a motorhome ?

On board pump in a swift Conquerer caravan, I am concerned about laying the carrier flat on the ground and having no depth for the suction pipe. Also the who;e appears to be a lot larger than an Aquaroll

They will stand upright, but you would lose a bit of capacity, do you have an inboard tank too ? If so, do as i do, and use the fiamma to top up your tank.  My Fiamma is only 25 litres so would not last long as main supply.

I thought the Fiamma water carriers were designed to fit in lockers especially designed for them. That is what I have seen on a lot of Continental caravans. Do Aquaroll still sell the smaller 29 litre Aquaroll? Might be an idea to have a look at the CAK
Tanks website as they sell similar things. The alternative is to either store the current Aquaroll in the shower or in the back of the car if that is an option.

Problem i find with storing an Aquaroll, is it is round ? Great when rolling it full of water, but with limited space in a motorhome not so good. My Autotrail had an outside cupboard that perfectly held 2 Fiamma 25 litre water containers, one fresh, one waste, a watering can, and all hoses and pipes reqd. So its not just Foreign motorhomes that make provision.  I dont think that the 29 litre aquaroll is still made ? 40 litre only.

On-board pumps are now quite common, especially on larger caravans.  Pump can be set to fill on-board tank from Aquaroll, use from this tank, or use direct from Aquaroll.

We have a 2008 Swift group van with such a system, so it is nothing new.

We carry the Wastemaster in the front locker, the Aquaroll travels in the car.
