I am thinking of purchasing a Cadac Carri Chef 2 but I have read so many reviews and reports I am confused as to which are the best 'pans'.  I will definately get the pizza stone but we will use it for breakfasts, BBQ's but also like to cook pasta, more
traditional type meals - any suggestions please.

I have the Safari chef 2 , so for pasta , I would use the lid upside down , which You can't do on the carri chef . Just had a look at the accessories and the roasting pan would do pasta / traditional type meals . Or You could just use a pan from home if
it fits onto the pot stand . There's some good videos on YouTube cooking with the Cadac .

Our is a Carri Chef 1 so slightly different.

We use the Griddle for breakfasts and bought one if the traditional chrome grills for BBQ's, which we like much better than the black tin type thing which was supplied with the Carri Chef.  These and other spares can be got from Towler and Staines.

We bought a 'non-Cadac' pizza stone, which we don't take with us very often, and a non-Cadac paella-type pan which we got from Jackson of Old Arley.

We always line our griddle with a non-stick bacoglide sheet, cut to fit the circular griddle.  It is very much easier to clean and will last for years.

    Hope this helps.

We have the Carry Chef 2 and have found we only use the 1/2 and 1/2 plate and the set of tapas dishes which are great for fried eggs when doing breakfst, also we use a wok on the pan stand for doing meatballs in sauce or pasta etc. We have not had a issue
cleaning and would highly recomend the Cadac product.

Thank you all very much, it looks as though I do not have to spend a fortune to achieve some good meals.  Thank you DSB I will take a look at Towler and Staines

Rarely use the Cadac now. We have switched to a Terayaki (spelt wrong) electric grill.  Why use the Cadac when we have paid for electric!

You can't do a pizza on a teriyaki electric grill though can you?
