we have the Kampa Rally Air Pro 390. Well pleased with it. Easy to put up  and even easier to piutaway. No problems with it so far.

We also have a Kampa Air Pro 390 and are also delighted with it.  They are, however, heavy to pull onto the awning and we use a set of lightweight steps which we keep in the van to allow me to get a straight pull on it along the awning rail.  But the ease
of inflating it more than makes up for this slight disadvantage.

I helped a friend with his new Vango Varkala, recently and whilst I wouldn't criticise it's quality at all, it was a bit of a pain having to inflate each upright and each lateral roof pole separately - whereas the Kampa just has a single inflation point.

I know others will disagree but I have found the customer service and back-up from Kampa to be outstanding - as evidenced last year when our previous Air Pro wouldn't inflate and Kampa sent by overnight courier, a brand new awning to our camp site in Devon
at no cost to us - and were most apologetic for any inconvenience caused to us.

So - overall - well pleased with Kampa.Happy

Very happy with my Vango Varkala and I don't find having to inflate individual tubes a problem. If it is raining you can quickly do the main ribs and then go into the inflated awning and inflated the rest. It is made to a very high quality. Use Google to
search for many other threads on this topic.

Mine is an outwell Pacific coast. I have to be honest extremely disappointed......bought it following 10 years in 3 outwell tents( all brilliant) before buying my first caravan last year. Have had the awning 9 months and it's failed me three times. 1st two times to leaking and last week in Derbyshire all three roof supports failed and had decomposed in dry storage over the winter. Was so bad I couldn't even pitch it. Currently fighting outwell and the retailer for my £600 back. im sure others have had better luck but personally can't wait to be rid of it.

We have a kampa ace air and think its great, took a real battering over the bank holiday week while we were on a cliff top site near Cromer, the shipping forcast said we were receiving force 11 gales one night.

Bought an Outdoor Revolution air awning. Went flat and dangerous in wind. Have posted about this - has been with them for two months and still no news, just dreadful service from Glossop.

We bought an Isabella Magnum Coal and just love it. My four year old marvels at how the awning is still up in the mornings - clearly scarred by the air awning experience!

Think we were unlucky. Many people rate them. The Bradcot looked lovely but is super heavy.

We have a Kampa Rally Air pro 390 and concur with all previous comments re quality, sturdiness and weight. We liked it so much we have now purchased a 200 model. Same but for use as a quick weekend porch awning when we don't need the 390.

We too have a Kampa Rally Air Pro 390....never been happier with an awning. It stayed standing with no issues at all during the storms a few months ago. No rubbing on the caravan from metal poles and the material is a decent quality. The bag that it comes
with is also huge so no precision rolling/folding it to fit snuggly into a bag Happy

I've got an Outdoor Revolution Oxygen Speed 1 - It looks pretty good, but its a nightmare to get straight.

The air part is a single angled-arch - and it doesn't centre itself.  So you have to pump it up and then try to get it completely "square" before you start pegging out - or it won't go right.

And since its basically a massive sail, its almost impossible to get it square while you try to hold it in place.

I'm thinking of selling and getting something else.  Might even get a traditional pole awning.

Kampa 260 Pro.....Postives - really easy to put up we have a pump to inflate and it takes about 15 pumps, been in really heavy rain and wind during the bank holidays on a costal site, awning felt really secure, easy to pack away.

Negative - quite heavy (I think the pro material is stronger, thus heavier) although we are two females and mange to get it onto our small caravan without ladders.  Sometimes use the step if we are on a slight slope.

I've only had an air awning and think I would stick with this due to speed of putting it up.

We have the Kampa Rally Pro Air 260 and don't rate it.  We have terrible trouble with water pooling on the roof, it leaks like a sieve and is heavy for its size.  Kampa less than helpful when concerns were raised.  If I had our time over I would buy an Isabella
    Magnum....

Bradcot do. There is another thread running on it, 'Bradcot modul-air'. As its name indicates it is modular so you can have a full awning, a porch or something twixt and between. If we wanted a full awning, we'd get it.

Is the Isabella Magnum an infaltable awning?

Write your comments here...We started with a Suncamp 260 swift air . We find it brilliant its quite lightweight so a dream sliding it into rail . Use caravan steps . then its straight inside to inflate it . takes about 20 pumps i think ,about a minute .
Then we are dry and sheltered . the four corners can be pegged from the inside ,the rest of pegs can be done when it stops raining . We have now ordered a Kampa 390 rally air pro . and an electric pump . for when we are away for a week . Kampa havn't released
2016 model yet ,so we will wait . I believe it has larger tubes and heavier spec  material .

We do have a Magnum 390 coventional awning which we've used but it is awkward feeding all the poles in and pegging it out . Thats why we ordered 390 air awning after talking to some seasoned Caravaners at Kelling heath a few weeks ago . .

No, the Magnum is not inflatable, but its where I would put my money if I could have my time over.  Not sure what your other comment is inferring.  I approach a complaint as just that, an expression of dissatisfaction with a product or service.  I escalated
my complaint and found Kampa to be less than interested in addressing my concerns.  I have neither the time nor inclination to enter a prlonged battle which should not be necessary if they took customer complaints seriously in the first instance.  Suffice
to say I will vote with my feet and will not buy another of their products.  I am simply sharing my personal experience to help others make an informed decision about their purchase.

We purchased an Ace 400 Air and are very pleased, yes it does require both of us to feed the awning thru the channel but once this is done it is a doddle to pump up and peg down. The windows in the roof make it a very light and airy feel. Would certainly
    reccomend it.
