we purchased the kampa pro 260 and couldnt be happier, we looked at the other makes and the Kampa PRO was by far much better quality material. Ive not seen the vango though so cannot comment on that one.
If you have a dealer that has demonstrators up go and check them out then you can be well informed with your choice.

I sold my full awning last year and just use my Bradcot Portico Plus although I find I'm not even putting that up sometimes.

As I recall, the Vango had (maybe changed now), multiple air inlets which require individual pumping. Not a brilliant idea. Kampa use a single inlet with interconnected beams. Kampa Pro fabric is very strong, but heavy to thread into your awning channel,
but lovely when fully erected.0 -
Look at kampa rally none blow up. Been very happy with ours although we rarely use it as we prefer either nothing or a sun canopy and windbreak.
never seen the benefit of bliw up jobs ny friend had one not sure what make but it was useless and apain to put up. imi

The advantage of air awnings is that there is no need to identify, connect, thread and tension poles. You just blow it up, which is quicker. Once erected, caravan damage through metal poles is eliminated in strong winds. Can you see the benefits now?
On the downside, they are heavier and far more expensive than conventionally framed awnings. They also fall short on sloping sites.
So there are pros and cons. Though there's an ever growing take up of air awnings.

Personally I prefer the Varkala system of multiple air valves than the Kampa single one. I have a Varkala and have found it extremely well made and robust in harsh conditions. There are a number of threads on this subject so use Google to find them and reviews
on your short list.0 -
Hi, I have the Kampa rally pro air 330 and it's a brilliant awning. I can erect it myself (solo caravanner) which is so quick and easy. It stands up to high winds remarkably well, much better than the poled awnings that I've had previously. I can fully
recommend them.Sheila

What is the benefit of multiple inflations over just one?

Have a look at isabella awnings. I have got a Isabella porch and full awning. Cost a bit more but quality equipment.
