I just returned from Sports Direct where I went to buy a new raised double air bed, looked online £30 call and collect from store available. As we live 5 mins away from Drakehouse retail park I went down took one from the shelf and to the till £39.99 sir,
no £30, so off he went to get the manager who looked online and agreed to price match but he would have to charge me P&P at £5.95 even though I was there in store. Now I could be wrong but everywhere else I do call and collect have never charged so why are
these robbing sods allowed to do it? As I've said before in a full blooded Yorkshireman and I tried to explain to the manager that P&P is for a service and I refuse to pay for something I'm not receiving, at which point I was asked to leave.

I have just been looking online again and their excuse for charging is that you get a free £5 voucher to spend in store, this is to maintain a profitable online business. Just hope Argos don't try the same thing.

The owner of Sports Direct has been criticised for his exploitation of staff, now he's a contender for buying at least part of BHS which it seems that he's wealthy enough to do. So much as I too have shopped at Sports Direct, I can see how that wealth was
    achieved.

Similar thing: Tesco won't price match Tesco Direct, even when the item is sitting on their shelf in the store.

But the Halfords next door will!
