has anyone had issues with this type of awning.

first time it's been used and

is my van to big (Coachman 460) as the awning does not reach the floor and it has at least a 6 inch gap all the way round.

the air tube covers are all creased and have let the air out and re inflated.

seems as though the tubes are bent looks like banana's

roof is sagging and not nice and tight.

never had any problems with my previous awnings with metal and fibre poles, I just have a feeling that I have wasted £800.00 as I am really disappointed at the moment.

any advice welcomed

Thanks Rod235. Yes will give them a call, at the moment I feel like it will be going for sale when we get home.

For info. Deflated, repegged and re inflated 4 times today all nice and straight and taut how it should be. But as moving sites took it down. The only down side is its a bit of a maul to feed into position and remove from the awning rail. Thought it would
have been easier than it was to save lugging poles as I suffer from arthritis, so sorry to say this awning is not for me so e bay when we get back unless I can come to some arrangement where it was purchased from.

OP, you've made me feel a bit better, but sorry to revel in your misfortune.

I really wanted the Bradcot awning but bought an Outdoor Revolution one instead. I hate it and started a thread a few days ago about its problems - flattens in windy weather etc.

I was cursing myself for not buying the Bradcot but have decided to go for what I wanted all along - an Isabella Magnum coal 250. Never done a pole awning before, sales folk think I am mad to reject air for poles, but I figure you know where you are with
    a few poles. Naivety, I know... ??

My air awning is currently with Blue Diamond for tests. Allegedly.

Sorry, last post very unclear. I wanted an Isabella but thought too expensive and faffy with poles. Decided on air and rather fancied the Bradcot, but heavy and not many exciting features, like fold down windows. OR revolution was cheaper, lighter and more
gizmos. Just rubbish though in my case.

Catsize, we also thought air is the future but as I still work in feet and inches and pounds, shillings and pence will get the slate and chalk out and do some calculations and revert back to a porch awning with poles, don't get me wrong now it's sorted out
its fine but just wish it was easier to slide in and out of the awning rail. Hey ho you live and learn and loose a fortune on the way!!!!!

Cat eyes,I have an Outdoor Revolution Oxygen Speed 1 air awning and do not suffer from flattening in windy weather. My awning has the rigid roof pole, and this does seem to resist any wind blowing directly to the front of the awning.

The benefit of the Oxygen Speed seem to out way the disadvantages. What I do find strange is OR are seeming to allow Bradcott and others to obtain the market share.

Even my local camping shop has discontinued selling them for this year.

Hi Fozzie, in my hunt for a new awning, I have spoken to three dealers. All of them have stopped dealing with OR/Blue Diamond, due to poor after sales service and quality issues. Glad you've had more success. I wish we had As I rea;;y liked the awning in
theory! OR/Blie Diamond have had our awning for over a week now. Was told I would be contacted within a week. Ah well... And Glossop seemingly couldn't care less.

I have the Isabella MagnumCcoal and have to say it is faultless. I did fancy a Bradcot Aspire but the technology was fairly new and untested when I was looking. What does interest me is that Isabella who have has a name for top quality do not seem interested
in developing an air awning - I wonder why?
