Hi,

We would like to buy a new modern porch awning as the one we have has seen better days.

Any suggestions or tips as to which make is easy to erect and quite durable.

IMHO go for an air awning, we got one last year to replace out porch awning, you still have to thread it into the awning rail but a few minutes after that its up. Pegging will take the same amount. They are surprisinly rigid. Ask for a demo at your local dealer. Ours was a Suncamp

Hello Foofoo and welcome to Club Together.  As you'll see, there are many other threads all discussing awnings, where people have offered advice and recommendations. You might like to have a look at them.
