Technical help Dometic fridge 7 series gas operation
hi, I have a problem with my Dometic fridge (7361) which will not cool properly on gas, but is ok on 12V or mains.
The burner has a very small flane when on gas but I can see no problems with the jet or burner.
The gas valve has 2 wires from a control box type P-180 (and an earth wire) ,
Does anybody know the proper voltage on these 2 wires?
Thanks in advance
Barry

Just to get started...
Not being cheeky, you will need to think carefully if you can handle/are qualified for this job. I'd do the basics but if I got stuck I'd have to let an expert take over.
If there's a flame then it may be that the valve is opening correctly but the jet may be blocked (so flame not big enough to cool effectively?) The flame should be blue with no yellow or there is a danger of incomplete combustion.
Is there a pilot when on gas which allows the main jet to work when demanded (I don't know the answer to this)
How often has it been used on gas (if a little or a lot, may need jet cleaning and servicing?)
As said, unless you can inspect the jet, clean out any cobwebs or blockage easily and it's obvious that's the fault I'd get it checked by a specialist you trust. Unless someone else has better knowledge.
Sorry not to have answered your actual query.

Wasn't there something about having to remove an external cover to enable the fridge to work on gas?
