It unfortunately does not include my  215/70R/15  original equipment  tyres, so I will have to continue assuming the van maker [ Hymer ] quoted the correct value.

Nor mine!  Bailey Ranger  1326 kgs, original tyre 195/70 R14 96N.  Like ocsid, I will continue to use the pressure as shown on the caravan plate.

Spot on for mine and the tyre size was catered for. Obviously first call is the plate on your caravan but if you are not the original owner someone may have changed tyre specs so plate could be wrong.

    Also found this calculator.

Handy is that you have to give as little as possible info, but occid's sises where not in it,

But you can also use my calculator, only need to give more details, 4 things

Real total weight or Max permissable Vehicle Weight

Number of wheels on the ground when driving.

Maximum load of tyre given on sidewall or Loadindex.

Pressure needed for maximum load wich is not the maximum cold pressure. also called maxloadpressure/referencepressure/ AT-pressure.

Planning to review it and you also have to give maximum speed or speedcode of tire, and your used maximum speed , you wont go over for even a minute.

maximum load of tires is related to maximum speed.

You can find it in this map on my onedrive that belongs to my hotmail.com adress with username jadatis.

edit: saw the link did not work, and chanched the url tag.

But if you have this yust select the text and click right and click go to "what you selected"

Hope I did make it a link right

To use a spreadsheet, first download it to your computer by RIGHTCLICKING and choose Download.

Then after eventual  virus-check open it in Excell programm on your computer, but open office Calc can handle it too.

I have the same tyre spec as comeyras with the van plate at 1350kgs/50psi. Tyre max pressure is supposed to be 42psi but I've always run them at 50psi. Apparently some tyres were tested to destruction and didn't burst until something like twice the rated
pressure so I'm not too worried at the slight excess over the rating. Preferable to running on soft tyres which, IMHO, are more risky.
