Protecting Grass Seasonal Pitch
So , I chose the pitch today going on next weekend. When booking it was suggested I arrived with mesh type spreaders for the wheels. Anyone had these before and know what to buy and where ?
Described as plastic mesh to put over grass where the wheels will sit
Thanks

Those of us who go off-roading in a too serious way use glass fibre "bridging ladders". Good for getting out of mud as in the other current thread on poor site conditions. eBay as ever as a source.

As Nav suggests, take a look at bridging ladders aka off road waffle boards. Plenty of websites to choose from, we use them all time with our MH through Winter and wet periods.

I always thought of CT as a waffle board.

Clifford - could you ask whoever it is that told you to bring them, what it is that they are referring to?
I agree that it could be the grass reinforcement plastic mesh (similar to link below), but they may have something else in mind.

Grass grids are meant to be laid, then filled with either soil and grass seed, or gravel. Our drive is made up of these and gravel. They provide stability under both, especially in wet conditions. I am working on principle that seasonal pitch is grass, already
laid. Might get away with using grass grids upside down, same as cut down milk crates.0
