Morning All,

are there any decent quality bins that mount to the main door? This seems to be the best place to place a bin in our Pathfinder but from reading various products' reviews about poor quality I wondered if any of you can recommend one please?

thanks, B

We managed to find a good one in our local accessory shop, it was the same one that had been fitted in our previous  Eldiss caravan. We replaced the one fitted in our Bailey which was too small to be any use.

The one on the door of my Bailey is very small but convenient.

I was thinking much the same for our Lunar Ariva, as there is nowhere else to put a bin really- so finding a decent, small door bin would be a good thing... If you find one Boggie, will you let us know?!

In my experience door bins are too small to be of much use and are completely impractical if you leave the door open. We keep a small pedal bin in the washroom and bring it out when cooking is in progress.

My door bin is used to store all the doggie bits, lead, treats, poo bags etc. as its to small for anything else i then use a covered stacka box with bin bag in it sat under the vanLaughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

I have thought about it, but like 'Tw' feel its better out of the way so we have a small freestanding fliplid one plonked in the shower.

Ours is a bit on the small size. I wonder why they make them with a crescent shaped profile rather than a more rectangular shape. It's not as if the unused space is useful for anything else.

We bought ours from the catalogue "Betterware" It supports a hanging plastic bag, so not too small, and has a solid plastic flip lid. Hangs on two screws using key hole slots so you can fit it wherever is convenient in your van or door.

Good point about the flyscreen part... not considered really using the flyscreen but leaving the upper part of the door open...

Think that will stick to the hook for a bag by the door (which is what previous owners did!)
