I have just had the bad news that my motor mover has had its day - and am toying with the idea of the ones that lock on to the tyres automatically.  Can anyone tell me how reliable they are?  I need to make life as easy as possible due to age!  But I understand
if this doesn't work i.e flat battery I would have to get on the ground and unwind it manually.  Obviously don't allow the battery to go flat!- but any experiences with newer movers would be good to hear.  My mechanic - only fits Truma's of either the manual
or automatic lock on variety.

Pippa - can I refer to
    this
thread on the subject of auto or manual movers.  To avoid a duplicating advice, I'll close this thread and invite you to continue on the existing one.

    Many Thanks.
