Can anyone advise me if there are problems at Pristine Awnings Ltd of Carlisle at the moment as i sent my awning to be cleaned in November and i am still awaiting its return now almost three months later.Last year we sent it in at the end October and no
problems it was back well before Christmas.Don't get me wrong they made a wonderfull job of it and we were highly satisfied. This time i am becoming rather concerned as after three phone calls and two E-Mails and only a statement that '"All is ok" or "It is
still on the waterproofing section",i am getting a little bit worried that i am being fobbed off. They are still advertising for business on their web site so why havn't they got existing customers orders completed. After all they were paid in November!Anybody
out there had a similar problem Thanks.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news. But I think you might have a problem.

First where did you send it to. Carlisle or Wigton as there seems to be two addresses for them.

Pristine Awnings: Caravan Awning and Tent Cleaning

    www.pristineawnings.co.uk/

Professional awning cleaning service, with many years experience in the industry can safely remove dirt, stains and odours from your awning, tent or gazebo.

Pristine Awnings Church Street, Caldewgate, Carlisle ...

    www.carlislepages.co.uk/company/437690008252416

Contact details for Pristine Awnings. ... Pristine Awnings. Category: Industrial Cleaners | show me more. Address: Church Street Caldewgate Carlisle Cumbria

If it was the Carlisle address this I am pretty sure was flooded in December, I hope I am wrong. I regularly travel that way in and out of Carlisle and have never seen the name up on any buildings. But there is a Bunch of cleaners other than them just behind KC Superbikes which is on Church St. Which was flooded.

I think you need to check where it was taken.

    Fingers crossed for you.

I sent it to Wigton with the address they sent me and which i have used previously and had no problems with.I did ask if the flooding had affected them and she said not as it had only been down in Carlisle. However it could be possible that they have been
using both sites and who knows my awning might be somewhere floating in the Atlantic. When i have picked up enough patience to ring them without losing my temper i might mention that i have heard that flooding might be involved at their sisters site and see
what response i get .I never knew that they had two sites.!

Hi redkite2 Many thanks for your help. You will be pleased to know that after a rather strong E-Mail to Pristine Awnings today guess what?My awning is complete and will be despatched tomorrow Wednesday for delivery to us  Thursday.I never lost my temper with
them but thought that after three months it needed something a bit stronger-It Worked.By the way they only have the one premises at Wigton. The other place in Carlisle was their previous place up to 2013,Just thought i would set that clear in case anyone else
was reading this and had problems.
