Google Fiamma awning or look at the Fiamma website for their versions.

you could just buy the side pieces, which fit directly onto your wind out canopy and together form a safari room, or even just one end piece as a windbreaker....
im sure there are also many other drive-away type awnings should you fancy this type of system....

Loansman, when you say it doesn't fit into the slot on the front of your Fiamma is it to big or to small? you can get a piece of awning material that is 4mm one side and 6mm the other side that can be used, you then slide along a figure of 8 piece then attach
the awning to this, we have a small porch awning that attachs to the front of our fiamma direct, the only down side of this is that due the Fiamma sticking out the sides of the awning don't fit close to the sides of the van. There are a number of M/Hers that
have had a strip of awning rail put just underneath the Fiamma so they can fit a porch awning that fits close to the van, this works well but you will need a set of steps if your van is over high.0 -
Thanks tammygirl, that sounds like a solution as it would let me use the awning of my choice the Kampala 330,do you think the extra rear poles you can get as an optional extra might help with the gap down the sides?
Are you thinking of getting an awning rail fitted? if so then i would say it depends on the sides of your van, our van has a big skirt round it so getting anything close isn't going to be easy, some awnings have cushion bumpers down the sides which help
block the wind a bit. There is also a product on the market sorry can't remember what its called, that inflates and will fit down the sides if the awning doesn't have the cushions, they are about £26 from ebay.0 -
I am reluctant to have any more holes drilled in the van so no I don't see us having an awning rail fitted,I will get out and about on some sites and speak to other motor homers and take our time, thanks for your input if anyone else has any suggestions..........
