Caravan Front Window Replacement

Hi, We have a Sprite Major 2009 and back in October whilst driving out to a site we developed a crack on the front window. The crack is too big to repair and thus we need to purchase a new one.

I have been looking around and contacting different breakers yards to see if they have any available and the ones that have any are coming back saying that they have Sprite front windows 2012 onwards. I am struggling to understand if this fits my van or
not given we have a 2009 and this is a 2012 (seems obvious that if it says 2012 onwards then it wont but dealers are saying its the same size?). I am also struggling to find where I can find the window specs as the owners manual / techincal booklets dont have
this info in them.

Does anyone have any experience in this field that can help point me in the right direction?

    There are companies that will make a replacement window to match the damaged one, all they neeed is the old one to do a match.  I'm sure someone will be here shorlty with a name; if not, ask your local caravan dealer.

    Can you measure your van window - all the dimensions, including the 'border' if the window has one, and exactly where the locks and steadies fit.  Then email the company offering the 2013 window and ask if they can check the dimensions against your measurements.

    If you decide to  have a replacement window made, then
    EECO at Shelf,     near Halifax, is the company that makes them.  You remove the old window and they can collect, or you can take it over to them - and they make an exact replacement (colour, size, etc) and send it back to you. You can get a preliminary quote,
    by using the on line form.

    We had them make a replacement window, and they were very efficient and the window was perfect.
