Where to place the tv in our abi diplomat '95
wondered if possible to wall mount tv any ideas

My last Avtex was fitted on a bracket fixed to the base of one of the wall cupboards. However I was told not to travel with it like that as it wouldn't be safe. So now I have the newer one free standing as being less hassle. My van has only one aerial
point so that might limit your choices too? I think the angle can be very important too as some TVs are difficult to view from various angles.0 -
I don’t know the layout of your van, black bull, but remember that caravans are built very lightly and there may not be anything of substance to screw into within the furniture you may be looking at. I’d try to include a backing plate to spread the load
and avoid a ‘long arm’ extension that might present too much leverage on the securing points.0 -
Hi, I put a tv arm on the side of my wardrobe and did what rogher has suggested by bolting it on with a metal plate on the inside of the wardrobe. However I always take the tv of the arm for traveling, it would probably be ok but as it takes two minutes
to remove doesn't seem worth the risk.0 -

to remove doesn't seem worth the risk.The bolts and a plate look the best idea. Given the weight of the set though I would not travel with it on the arm though.
