    I use a rechargeable drill. My wife saw someone winding down their steadies using one and insisted that next time  I brought the one from home , as she is a very impatient woman! 

    Recently I have noticed that it is very difficult to knock awning pegs into many of the club pitches. So I have another use for the drill. I bought a set of screw in pegs and they work a treat.
