To be frank I do not care what they call it although visit seems more appropriate as not all users of sites are using it for leisure purposes but in the great scheme of things it is irelavant.

We too, like Another David, treat our breaks away slightly differently now we are retired. It'll now take us a month to do what we used to do in a week. Not really 'holiday' more living somewhere different without moving home. As said before, every day is
a holiday now and we, more or less, do what we want when we want

When we're in our mobile home in France we don't really regard it as a holiday, more living in a different place. Being in the tourer is a 'holiday',

    Either way, certainly beats working!

But are they admitting to the club they are using it for other purposes as I thought the club frowned on non-leisure use (not sure why it makes any difference to the club why you are staying there of course)

We have used sites to visit relatives and even attend a funeral which was hardly a holiday. There are people using them as bases for work away from home and there is no problem for them. At the end of the day while holiday is not always accurate I cannot
    see that it really matters.

I would totally agree that its not a problem but I thought the club didnt allow it - or have I dreamed that? Most other sites dont seem to have a problem with it and I suppose the term 'holiday' is universally used pretty much.
