Got Email from the club yesterday, October 19th about a discount scheme for Nissan X trails.  Phoned Nissan on the Number given in the Club Email and they tell me the offer expired at the end of September. Brilliant. Has anyone else found any different.

Taken from the offers section of this wb site.

Offer available on a qualifying retail purchase of new Nissan X-Trail (excluding Visia grade)
when ordered by 31 December 2016 and registered by 31
March 2017, at participating dealers only & subject to availability.

Try Nissan again and if they still say the offer has ended contact the club.

    Good luck.

Spoke to club shop who are organising this.  They put me through to Nissan who took club membership number and are getting back to me. Not sure where Nissan call centre is but not easy conversation.  They told me to speak to the dealer first and then contact
them again.  They didn't appear to have a clue what to do.  Tempted to go for a Mitsubishi as I had initially intended.

I would think it is just a mix up. New offer and message has not got through to whoever answered the phone. However, I note unfortunately the offer does not include the new high powered 177 Diesel engine,  that is being launched in 2017.

When we did this with our 2 year old XTrail. We did go to the dealer and told them we wanted the CC offer. They processed the order with the discount but we had to ring Nissan with our CC card number and they then sent us an Evoucher which we had to take
to the dealer.  A bit involved but worth it for the £5000 we saved.

The actual email we got from the club appears to say that the new 177 is included.  This is what it says on the email but thtas something I wanted to confirm with them.

Nissan are pleased to announce that the X-Trail engine line up is soon to be expanded with the arrival of a new, high powered dCi 177 diesel engine. This flagship engine is set to bring even more excitement to the existing engine line up whilst also boasting
an impressive towing power. This engine will be open to pre-orders from November with delivery from January 2017.

15% off (save up to £4,997)

    £1,500 deposit contribution

Free fully fitted tow bar (RRP £840)

I notice Nissan are still just offering a miserly 3 year warranty on their new cars.   Makes one think that Nissan can't have much faith in their own build quality.

Something against Nissan K.? I notice Landrover, Ford, VW, Mazda and Volvo have 3 year warranties. There may be others, I gave up after these.

I thought the OP had asked for advice on the Nissan Offer, or lack of, not for what folk thought about the warranty.

The current offer only started this week so not visited the dealer as yet. Wanted to find out the correct info first.

When you call the phone number for Nissan customer services you are speaking to their European headquarters in Paris so their knowledge of the Caravan Club and of the offer has been variable but they have always been very pleasent to deal with.

I have today had an email from them, from which the following is copied "

I can confirm that new xtrail with the high powered 177 diesel engine will be included as part of the caravan club discount offer."

I suspect this is the one which will be the most attractive to caravaners.  It is not available yet but should be available for pre order from November for delivery from January 2017.

Yes we did, traded in a 6 year old X trail. Did all the wrangling over price before I told them we wanted to claim the CC discount. They were not bothered as the discount amount came straight from Nissan, which is why we had to get an e voucher to give to
the garage. This then enabled them to claim the money back. I would assume if you were not trading in you may be able to strike an even better deal
