I expect it was just a temporary space issue for that one edition of the magazine.

The CC publication is IMO primarly an Advertising Catalogue with the odd bit of caravan interest put into spaces when they are short of advertising. They probably had a couple of extra adverts this month - hence the Letters Page was ditched.

Strange not to have a 'letters page' though. Many Caravan Club members don't have internet access so probably particularly enjoy the letters page...our neighbours are Caravan Club members and don't use the internet. They always look forward to the magazine.
    I just enjoy the crossword!

I missed the letters this month, always good for a laugh.

But not as good as the other game my wife and I play as soon as opening the mag. I turn to the test pages and we guess what the scores are going to be. Car 8, Caravan 8, Motorhome 8. Seriously when evrything scores the same how can this help decisions. I
think they are frightened of upsetting manufacturers,

Ive been a member for over 30 years but I think they are losing the plot. Why do I stay?

    For the CL network

I find the letters mostly to be sycophantic drivel with the odd interesting one thrown in. The crossword is usually so simple it can be done in minutes if they remember to give all the clues. I still read both though what does that say about me!!

I suppose all those who moan about the content of the mag could always contribute something themselves, if they think they could do a better job

    Just saying

I did once and it was published but they edited it and gave it a daft title. I'll not be doing it again.

I too notice that the reviews always (with VERY few exceptions) come out with a rating of 8. As you say, not much help and probably done so as not to upset anyone. If you check out the videos they now have accompanying the reviews it is a similar story.
Why not just show us the 'van and let us make our own score up.

I am not a fan of the magazine and certainly won't miss the letters pages but on a positive slant I thought the article on the Club performance and summary of accounts were better presented with more information than I have seen in a long time.

    Hi all

After a brief absence in the October magazine, I can reassure you that the regular "Letters" feature in the magazine is back, as per November mag, and will remain a regular feature going forward.

    Regards to all

    Helen

How do you know they don't? Maybe anything negative is edited out?  Maybe I'm to cynical eh!

As other have mentioned, I too find the mag to be a waste of time.  The timid reviews in particular annoy me ...

I wish the CC would do as the C&CC now do - they allow a reduction in annual fee if you don't take their magazine (which is also a waste of time
    Sealed).

With the C&CC you stil get the magazine on the web at least in theory. Not providing the magazine reduces the circulation and therefore not gving you it would reduce the advertising income so I thik you wil always get it either in the post or electronically.
