Plans for the East Kent Centre 50th birthday rally in Broadstairs are going very well, and it gives me great pleasure to communicate a draft programme that as you can imagine, is subject to change.

We want members to have a fantastic, relaxed and enjoyable holiday and we hope to get the balance right between organised activities and time to enjoy the seaside location of Broadstairs and the local area.

Friday 29th July - Rally opens
                            Fish and Chips (Additional charge)

Saturday 30th July - Bacon and Sausage rolls for breakfast (Additional charge)
                                Marquee erection
                                Communal area dinner
                                Welcome flagpole
Evening Live band – Paragraph one

Sunday 31st July - Kids club
                             Afternoon cream tea (Additional charge)
                             Evening Live artist – Steve Conway

Monday 1st August - Coach tour of Kent (Leave 10am Return 18:00) to take a coastal drive heading through Sandwich, Deal, Sandgate before arriving in Hythe where you can take advantage of an all day all station ticket on the RH&DR. The coach will pick up at Dungeness Station and take a country drive through Camber, Rye, Peasmarsh & Rolvenden before arriving in Tenterden for an afternoon coffee stop. The group will depart Tenterden and continue the country drive up through Bethersden, Challock, Chilham, Littlebourne, Wingham to arrive back in Broadstairs.

Thursday 4th August - Coach tour to Ypres (Leave 9:30 Return 00:50) Coach to Dover for ferry crossing to Calais . Buffet on the boat. Coach to Ypres with a drive through tour of the local battlefields. Arrive in Ypres with free time to enjoy the town. Coach to Menin gate for sounding of last post. Back to Calais for crossing back to Dover and then onto Broadstairs
