Tyre pressure info should be located on the drivers door pillar.
Why should the tyre pressure be on the door pillar? Some might be, but certainly not all. Mine are on the back of my petrol filler cap door as well as the handbook ..... they were just in the handbook of my previous car, as they are in SWMBO Citroen

Car manufactures will usually give 2 sets of pressures, one for general driving with up to a couple of passengers and another set for high speed continous driving fully loaded with people & luggage, you'll probably want something in the middle. I used to
alter my tyre pressures for towing but don't now.0 -

When towing pressures should be set to maximum load setting. It is in the handbook under "ESSENTIAL TOWING CHECKS".

But they are on Jaguars.

We have this Jag and when I was towing with it I had the same problem finding out tyre pressures. After much research it came to light that you don't have a loaded and unloaded tyre pressure like other cars, you have an 'under 80 mph' pressure and an 'over
80mph' pressure. My dealership advised me to just leave the pressure as my normal (34psi or 36psi memory, I can't check as I'm away from home at the moment) for under 80 mph and I never had a problem. I towed all around France like this a couple of years ago.
The pressures are in the handbook if you have it but just use the lower pressure and stick to towing under 80 mphFantastic cars, enjoy!

It would be interesting to know where you got that info from,it does not make sense to me.The handbook clearly states-2 Tyre pressure label: Located at the base of the driver's side B-pillar.Essential Towing Checks.-6 Increase the rear tyre pressures on the towing vehicle to those for the maximum vehicle loading conditions.

Vulcan, i looked into this nearly 3 years ago now when I first bought the car. You'll have to wait until I get home at the end of the week until I can look at my handbook but I do remember at the time I was a little lost about this subject and where the
dipstick was to check the oil. I spoke to Jaguar at Houghton le Spring where the car came from and received that advice. I'm happy to be corrected if someone knows any better.I don't tow with mine now, we were going through a 'caravan' stage of life at the time but it only lasted another 6 month after we got the car and we changed back to a motorhome, I missed my MH so much.
