I suspect given it is so new you might be a pioneer.... i have only seen one on the road and that appeared to be a press car.

Hi T Berry just wondered if you went for the Ford Edge, test drove it yesterday and they were doing some really good deals on it - makes more sense to go for a new one of these as opposed to used Sante Fe/Sorento.  Noted practical caravan reviewed it is ok.

We have sold quite a few Edges now.  We had an issue last year with 3 customers buying early production examples and look to reject them due to the steering.  These were all cars without the active steering.  No faults were found when we investigated them in our workshop indeed one even went to another dealer for a 3rd opinion and again no fault was found.

The customers have all kept their cars and have decided to turn off the lane departure systems as they found the steer more palatable with it turned off.

I'm not sure if it's a car I'd choose when our Q3 lease is up for renewal.. Yes it's a heavy beast, yes it's spacious and yes it's available in a lovely Vignale spec (we have a metallic white one sat in our showroom now), but I'm not 100% I'd want to spend £40K+ on one or lease one due to the monthly payments.

I bought one in november sport model with a factory fitted towbar it's a good towcar, tows my Bailey Unicorn Cadiz very well, loads of boot space, only two of us +small dog so don't need 7 seats.Took it to Spain for 6 weeks solo it drove like a dream, just had an air con compressor replaced under warranty and a new steering wheel which was a Ford recall, had a Kuga before but found the boot space a little small.
