Volvo V60 D5 question

Good morning,

I`m trying to establish what the max nose weight is for a 2011 V60 D5 Geartronic is but can`t find it anywhere.

Does anybody on here run one and can answer?

    I have a V70 D5, and that is 90Kg, but the best place to check for your V60 will be in your owners manual.  You can download the correct version for you car from

    here.

    Many thanks gents, I tried google but couldn`t find a definitive figure, the pdf of the handbook confirms it as 90kg.

    I`m thinking of swapping my XC60 for the V60 so couldn`t look in the handbook myself. It`s hard to get accurate information on weights and limits sometimes and I didn`t want to get into a position that I was looking at cars that couldn`t cope with my relatively
    lardy Coachman...

    I`ve not really bonded with the XC60, it`s OK but nothing more.

    The V60 is just one option I`m looking at.

    Look at the small Merc 4x4 the GLC I think ( I'm not so up to date on the newer models)  The ML was a fantastic tower but has now been superceeded by the GLS (I think). The GLC is a size smaller but in 250 form has a better torque output than the 200 version.

    I'm changing my XC60 D5 AWD for a V60 Cross Country D4 AWD, noseweight is 90Kg on both.

    Have used the CC deal again to get ££s off and free metallic etc

    There's a review of the GLC in October's magazine, not that it is likely to prove a definitive assessment.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    As nice as the Mercedes looks I buy used as I`m not wealthy enough to stomach the savage depreciation that new cars can deliver.

    Fully accept that, and as now fully retired I am in the same position.  But don't get put off by stories concerning the cost of MB servicing.  Having owned big Toyota's for years I have to say that the cost of servicing my ML has been no more expensive than
    the Toyota's and the basic costs less.

    I think that in the past 10 years the manufacturers have finally cottoned onto the fact that the cost of maintenance of a particular brand can affect its sales performance.  Hence a lot of them are now rolling a few years maintenance into the cost of purchase.

    Hmm, I was quoted in excess of £600 for the last service from a franchised Volvo dealer, I got it done for £370 by a respected Volvo specialist, those glass palace dealerships aren`t cheap to build...

    I have a friend with a 2011 E220 CDI estate that has produced some eye-watering bills from Winchester Mercedes...

    I`m going to have a look at the V60 on Saturday, I`ve got a feeling the boot will be too small but we`ll see.

    Just swapped my 2013  XC60 for a new Hyundai Santa Fe. First impressions very favourable, but there was nothing wrong with the Volvo, albeit a little 'unexciting' and compared with gadgets on Santa Fe, it was somewhat under-equipped.

    My XC60 really only feels composed when towing. It is a good tow car but it`s rather average at everything else.

    I would get the D5 V70 if I were you, absolutely stonkingly great car whether towing or solo.
