Hi All,

When the tow bar was fitted to our CRV they spliced into the harness for the electrics instead of using the Honda plug! To change over so the TSA will work will cost £185.00 is this system any good and is it worth the £185.00???

It depends what £185 is to you?

I wouldn't consider it as the last few years have seen a proliferation of technical 'improvements' that may or may not work. If they are on a newish car I bought ...great...if not...so what!

    I would pay the extra.

My car hasn't got a trailer system so i have a simple bypass system fitted.

Sounds like you have a generic kit fitted instead of the vehicle specific kit. Vehicle specific kits have all the correct plugs to simply plug into the vehicle wiring and usually give you full functionality. Regarding TSA if you have the Alko ATC I believe
that will work faster than the TSA. If your van doesn't have ATC then the TSA is useful.
