Ford Kuga 2WD TDCi 2015 - Vibration pulling away
Got a vibration problem with initial pulling away quickly at round abouts anf traffic signals when towing an Elddis advante 540. The Ford dealership have replaced the clutch friction plate but now have been told they have to compare it with a like for like
Kuga. This has now been going on for a year and still waiting for the dealership to source the same Kuga to test.
If anyone has a 2015 Kuga 2WD Tdci with the same problem could you give me a call on 07842198357, it would be much appreciated, Terry

Sorry Tel - got a 2015 Kuga but 4x4 varient and not had any problems but do recommend also the Kuga forum also.
PS Have you had your recall notice - something about the brake vacuum hose being located too near the turbo? Mine's been back to Ford already.

Hi Paul, yes mine has had the vac pipe mod done. I've been on the Kuga owners forum but haven't had anyone with the same problem. It would be great to find someone near me (Basildon, Essex) who has the same 2WD model with towbar that I could meet.

What kind of vibration? Is it a really loud excessive noise. Our Focus did this if it had wheel spin on a loose surface. I think it was the electronic stability control cutting in. Could the caravan brakes be sluggish in releasing, thus causing the wheel
spin? I now have a AWD Kuga and I hope wheel spin is a thing of the past.0 -
I've got an 09 2WD Kuga and haven't had any issues. The only time I had any judder was when I was solo and floored it exiting a roundabout when I first had it.

I have a 64 plate 2.0 diesel AWD Kuga Titanium. On a recent tour of Scotland from Hampshire I experienced a slight judder when pulling away at a roundabout a couple of times that felt like clutch slippage. Kuga only done 11k miles so doubt whether clutch
worn. Not sure what the actual cause was but just put it down to poor clutch control. Once aware that the judder might happen I was more careful with further clutch control........no more judder0
