Hi so we are sitting here at Ramslade.

Journey down was uneventful, the last couple of hills kicked the autobox oil cooler fan on, but apart from that it was all good, 23 mpg average. Well pleased.

So we've been here 3 days pottering about round the coast. Came back this evening from Paignton seafront, noticed a strange whirring noise from engine when accelerating, got back to the van popped the bonnet and its been blowing oil back out of the dipstick
tube!!

Any ideas??

Or do I come back home on the back of a recovery truck??

Dave.

You said it was from the dipstick tube Undecided Has a hose clip come adrift or a pipe split?

The pump? Or hoses to/from it? At least the ride back home saved you a tank of diesel Cool

Hope you get sorted with minimum impact to your wallet Wink
