New Kia Sportage 2 litre any good for towing

I tow with ford kuga 2litre awd 161 bhp, caravan weight is 1456kg Thinking of changing to a new Kia Sportage 2 litre but it only has 134 bhp any thoughts.

    Buy the 182 bhp version

    I've just used a MY16 KX2 to tow a Sprite Quattro FB (MTPLM 1576kg) to Devon and back.  It performed really well, sure it needed a couple of gear changes but nothing major.
