Towing with a Renault Grand Scenic

Having bought a Renault Grand Scenic I find there is a question of whether it will pull my Venus 554/4 weighing 1300kg, though the handbook states it is able. Does others tow with a Grand Scenic and is able to explain the issue with the towing weights.

    There are at least 11 different specifications depending on exact model and with regars to BHP, Engine size etc

    Without more detail comments will be limited. I assume that the 1300 kg of the 'van is MPTLM

    We were looking at these but feel that the 2 liter engine is the only one worth while. The nose weight also looks rather low and it has been put on the back burner. Not sure what you are looking at but the other engines looked a bit under powered for us.
