Light surface rust on towball

Hi.  I have just noticed that we have some light suface rust on the ball of our towhitch.  As we use a dry hitch, what would members recommend us to do if we wanted to remove the light corrosion? Thanks

    Use some fine emery or wet'n dry paper 800/ 1000 grit to clean off surface rust then spray both towball and hitchlok socket with carb or brake cleaner spray then wipe off with dry lint free cloth. Sorts mine out.

     And it would be an idea to also spray some brake cleaner up into the cup of the hitch,its supriseing how much muck will get washed out
